Electrician Job description

Responsibilities:

– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
– Perform troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions
– Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems
– Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure the proper installation and functioning of electrical components
– Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
– Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
– Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Skills:

– Proficiency in working with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
– Strong knowledge of industrial electrician practices and procedures
– Familiarity with precision measuring instruments for accurate installation and alignment of electrical components
– Ability to detect electrical malfunctions using testing devices and diagnostic equipment
– Mechanical knowledge to understand the interaction between electrical systems and mechanical components

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
